A total of fifty executives from Greek and international from the maritime and other corporate sectors contested  the various honours of the inaugural Posidonia Golf Tournament which teed off yesterday at the picturesque setting of the Glyfada Golf Course. 

 

The ideal weather conditions of bright sunshine and low winds contributed to the success of the event which culminated with a lavish reception and a prize giving ceremony attended by over 300 guests. 

 

"This event gave Posidonia 2012 guests the opportunity to unwind and relax ahead of a busy Posidonia Exhibition. The significant contribution of our sponsors Thenamaris and Costamare made this event possible and very successful," said Theodore Vokos, Project Director, Posidonia Exhibitions, S.A. "Our aim is to see this tournament become a staple event in Posidonia's recreational and networking calendar and to help it grow in the same way that Posidonia Cup and Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament have."

 

The Stableford Gross and Net Stableford tournament was a shotgun start for 18 holes.
